Clayton Knox became Chief Financial Officer of MedCura Health in January 2015. Prior to joining MedCura Health, Mr. Knox was a Senior Audit Manager with Metcalf Davis, an Atlanta based certified public accounting firm. During his time with Metcalf Davis, Mr. Knox spent 100 percent of his time serving not-for-profit and governmental entities with a specific focus on healthcare related entities. Clayton spent the first three years of his career with the state of Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts where he performed audits of state agencies and local boards or education. Clayton’s 19 years of combined experience in the not-for-profit and governmental industries has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the unique issues these entities face. Mr. Knox earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia College and State University and he is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Clayton serves as a board member and treasurer of Safe Kids Georgia and a member of the Rotary Club of Duluth where he currently serves as President.
MedCura Health is an FTCA deemed facility. This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
