
Larion M. Williams
Director of Fundraising and Development
Larion M. Williams became the Director of Fundraising and Development for MedCura Health, Inc. in June 2017. He has more than 15 years of experience in development and fundraising for higher education and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining MedCura Health, he served as a senior associate for Silver and Associates, a consulting firm primarily serving the global education market. Prior to that, he served from 2002-2016, as the chief fundraising officer and executive director for the affiliated foundations for two University System of Georgia Institutions. Before making the move to fundraising, Larion served as a vice president and financial specialist for Wachovia, now Wells Fargo.
A graduate of Savannah State University, Williams earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management and a Master of Business Administration. In addition, he holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from The Fund Raising School at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. He has also earned a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation from CFRE International, the first globally recognized credential for fundraising professionals.
