Since joining MedCura Health in May 2022, Mary Timms has brought a dynamic blend of clinical expertise, strategic insight, and heartfelt leadership to her role as Director of Nursing. With over 15 years of diverse nursing experience, Mary leads with a clear vision: to elevate patient care through compassion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Mary’s career spans a wide spectrum of healthcare settings—including inpatient and outpatient care, home health, hospice, behavioral health, and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This breadth of experience has shaped her holistic, patient-first approach and her deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in modern healthcare.
Before stepping into her current role, Mary served as Assistant Director of Nursing, where she was instrumental in strengthening staff development programs, ensuring regulatory excellence, and driving quality improvement initiatives. Her leadership style is rooted in mentorship, accountability, and a steadfast commitment to clinical excellence.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Mississippi University for Women and a Master of Health Services Administration from Mississippi College. Beyond her professional credentials, she is guided by a strong faith and is an active, devoted member of her church community. Her spiritual grounding informs her compassionate leadership and unwavering dedication to serving both patients and staff with integrity and grace.
