Are services free?

Services at MedCura Health are not free; however, if you do not have insurance we offer payment for services on a sliding fee scale. Qualifications are based on your household income and size.

I want to apply for the sliding fee schedule, what do I need to bring?

You would need to bring picture ID, proof of income, proof of residency. Click here to see valid forms of required documents.

What is a Community Health Center?

Community Health Centers are local, non-profit, community-owned health care centers operating in communities across the nation. For nearly 50 years, the national network of health centers has provided high quality affordable primary care. Also known as Federally Qualified Health Centers, they are located in areas where care is needed but scarce.

How do I get a referral?

A referral is required from your primary care provider. Please speak with your provider or a member of our staff. He or she will instruct you as to what steps to take.

Do you have staff that speak languages other than English?

Yes. We have a number of staff members who are multi-lingual and will be able to help you. In the event that your native language is not spoken by our staff, we utilize a language line that offers translation of over 175 languages.

Are you open on nights and weekends?

Yes. MedCura Health’s Stone Mountain location is open Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Do I have to be a citizen to see a doctor?

No. MedCura Health sees patients without regard to their citizenship status.

Will MedCura Health bill me for services or do I have to pay when I get there?

It is MedCura Health’s policy to expect payment at the time services are rendered.
