As of November 1, 2020, our new name will become MedCura Health, which means “Medicine with Care.” On March 26, 2020 the Board of Directors of Oakhurst Medical Centers, Inc. voted to change the name to MedCura Health Inc. The leadership of the organization deemed this appropriate to capture the essence of the organization in the year 2020 and to modernize its brand. MedCura today has become a more diverse health care organization with a wider array of services than when the Oakhurst brand was adopted. Also, it’s important to note the organization no longer operates in the Oakhurst Community of Decatur, Georgia where it was founded.
To point to MedCura being a leader in the community health care movement, we are embracing the new slogan of “medicine with care” to go along with the new name. MedCura, which means “medicine with care” is designed to capture the cornerstone of the organization’s focus on a higher level of quality service through excellent customer service.
